The OSU-Cascade Library offers a broad range of services to help you support your students' academic skills development.

Classroom Instruction

The library provides presentations of various lengths and content to best support your students and class projects. Popular options include:

  • Library Overview: 15-30 minutes on the OSU-Cascades Library, the greater OSU Library system, and how to access and use library services.
  • Information Literacy: 30-45 minutes on evaluating sources, discussing popular and academic sources, insight into information privilege, bias, and more.
  • Research Support: 30-60 minutes of library content, search strategy, and evaluation tips curated to a specific assignment or class project.
  • Citation management: 30-45 minutes on using Zotero to create a personal document library, generate citations, and quickly create bibliographies.

Other classroom options available, just ask!

Course Reserves

OSU Libraries support student affordability by offering short-term textbook loans called course reserves.
If you have required textbooks or other materials for class, let us know so we can make sure your title is on reserve.
Students can make photocopies or scan pages to email using the printer/copier/scanner machine in the library.
