Struggling to pay for textbooks, tuition, food, and housing? Textbook Lending

ASCC's Textbook Lending Program allows eligible students term- or extended-length (2-day) access to select required textbooks at no cost. The program operates on a first-come, first-serve basis and priority is given to students providing documentation of eligibility. After the second week of the term we will close the participation form.

Wondering what makes you elegible?

Students who participate or are eligible to participate in one or more of these programs receive Priority Access:

  • Veterans/ Active Military
  • Pell Grant eligible
  • Former Foster youth
  • ASCC Childcare Subsidy recipient

If you don't qualify for any of the above programs, you can still apply. However, you are not guaranteed access.

The application for Spring term is now closed. Please check back for the fall application.

What courses will have textbooks?

As Spring Term is the pilot term, there will be textbooks available for seven (7) classes:

  • BA 260
  • BA 352
  • BA 360
  • CH 233
  • HDFS 341
  • HDFS 447
  • PH 211

How long will you get the book?

Depending on how many people apply for the program, textbooks will either be available for the entire term, or for multiple day (2-day) checkout in the Library. What makes this different than a regular course reserve? You are only competing for the book with a few people, and are the only people with access.
