This Tuesday, 10/4/16, Dianna Fisher, from Open Oregon State, is offering a workshop on OER.

Open Educational Resources – materials that are freely available on the web or in the library – benefit students immediately through cost savings and can be a great vehicle for faculty looking for new ways to refocus their teaching. Using OER can allow faculty to assign course materials that directly address the learning outcomes of the course. Dianna will talk about some of the resources available to faculty, highlight some of the projects OSU faculty are involved in, announce funding opportunities and a newly funded research fellow program.

Here are additional resources about OER available freely online, and to you as OSU students, faculty and staff:

Visit the display for additional books about OER available here in the Library & Learning Commons, or search for "open educational resoures" in 1Search.
